Design
Eleventwentyfive was a design firm owned and operated by Jennifer Katell. Having studied art history and held various positions in both the for-profit and non-profit sides of the art world, Katell was looking for a unique way to work with artists. Inspired by items such as a Takashi Murakami keychain and a Jim Isermann mousepad, the seed of an idea was born. With the help of co-founder Gary Chavez, that idea evolved into Eleventwentyfive - a design firm that commissioned and licensed artists' designs for decorative home accessories. Eleventwentyfive extended the reach of work by emerging artists and brought affordable, functional art objects to the market for art and design enthusiasts. Aside from working with Gabrielle Jennings, Eleventwentyfive also included designs by artists Ann Faison, Amy Ruppel, Miller Updegraff, and Monique van Genderen.
