Win/Lose presents a study of anticipation and result as they look on the body. Gesture, acting and the impossibility of spontaneity are highlighted as actors follow a horse race and finally win or lose. This highly artificial situation is paired with footage of the public taken at the track (the 'real') where similar poses are seen in situ, and television footage of the race.
